Boise ranked #11 in the Top 100 Best Places to Live, Livability study, coming in with a LiveScore of 630. This is just 16 points shy of the top ranked city, Palo Alto California at 646. The full article and study can be found at http://livability.com/top-100-best-places-to-live#/boise/id.  This article states the median home price for Boise is $137,500, however being a Realtor in Boise we know that the current Median price year to date is $195,000 for Ada County which includes Boise. Real Estate data is local so it is very important to contact a local Realtor for up to date and accurate Real Estate information.

Boise ranked #5 on CNN’s 10 Best Places to Retire. while our Northwest neighboring cities ranked as follows: Salt Lake #7, Colorado Springs #8, and Spokane #9. See the entire article at http://money.cnn.com/gallery/retirement/2013/10/28/best-places-to-retire.moneymag/5.html Although we agree with CNN about Boise being an excellent place to retire, the Real Estate data again proves inaccurate and shows the need yet again to talk with a local Real Estate agent.
